Food Preparation Workers:
White Whale Enterprises dba Moby Dick’s Restaurant located in Wellfleet, MA on Cape Cod in Barnstable County: Temporary, Full-time, 04/01/2024-10/31/2024, 40 hours per week, 5 days per week, days and shifts may vary; 9am-5pm and/or 3pm-11pm. (15) Openings.

Will train to perform a variety of food preparation duties other than cooking, such as preparing cold foods, slicing meat, chopping fruits and vegetables, and maintaining sanitary conditions in kitchen walk-in areas. Comply with local, state, and federal regulations, orders, and mandates related to cleaning and sanitation required to combat COVID 19. No education or prior work experience is required. On the job training is provided. $14.52 per hour or $21.78 per hour for overtime as it may be available. Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $12.68 per day during travel to a maximum of $55 per day with receipts.

The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Employer will use a single workweek for computing wages starting Friday at 12:01 am and ending Thursday at 11:59 pm and the employee will be paid on Wednesday (weekly) by company check. H-2B workers will be provided with reimbursement by company check during the first workweek for visa, visa processing and related costs, except passport costs. All deductions required by law will be deducted weekly. Lodging may be available through employer. If housing is provided by employer, employee cost for housing is $120 per week and is paid directly by employee to employer each pay period. Housing is optional. Transportation is not provided to worksite.
